BGP route-server
DIX has two BGP route-servers available.
When an IP-address is assigned to an operator, the servers will be
configured to accept a BGP peering-request from this address (no
password/encryption).
The BGP route-server will load route-objects from RIPE and use those as
a filter for the routes announced by the operator. All available routes
will be forwarded to the peering equipment.
It is the operators responcibility to validate the sanity of received
routes as well as filter the recieved routes according to the operators
route-policies. |
